Ecoverse Clothing FAQs

Production and Shipping Times

The production process is fully automated by our supplier TeeMill and starts in the seconds after an order has been placed. This means that almost all orders will leave our UK factories next working day.

However, we recommend allowing up to 3 working days for production and the following amount of time for delivery:

UK 3 - 5 days

EU 5 - 10 days

International 10 - 20 days

What happens if an order is lost in the post?

If an item is lost in the post, first allow sufficient time (usually 28 days) for the item to arrive.

Items that are returned due to unsuccessful delivery will be recycled after 30 days unclaimed.

All shipping time estimates are estimates. We have no control over the performance of third party couriers. We do not guarantee delivery times where time is of the essence.

What packaging will my orders be shipped in?

All orders are shipped in sustainable, eco-friendly packaging, designed with the environment in mind and made with natural materials. They are rip-proof, splash-proof mailers made from paper.

How should I care for my products - what wash-care instructions should I follow?

We recommend a cool wash at 30 and hang drying products, to ensure print and product quality and longevity.

Our products are not suitable for high temperature washing, tumble drying, bleaching or dry-cleaning. Avoid ironing straight onto the printed designs. These methods can cause unwanted shrinkage, the inks to fade, or the prints to crack, flake or peel.

Are these products sustainable?

Our products are made from certified organic cotton, powered by renewable energy and every product is designed to come back to us when it’s worn out.

How do you return the products once they're worn out so they can be remade.

TeeMill have designed this system to be as easy as possible.

All you need to do is scan the care label with your phone once their product is worn out. That will take you to a page that tells you the story that comes with the products and allows you to active the freepost recovery (UK only) - TeeMill will take care of the rest.

How are the orders printed?

TeeMill print on demand, which means products are printed in the seconds after an order is placed. This means they can cut down overproduction and waste and only make what people need when they need it.

When an order is placed, it is automatically routed to the factory closest to the customer. This saves transport costs, lowers emissions and saves time, as well. Products are stored in pickfaces so staff members always know where to find them. The entire system is automated, so the team member will see a number signifying a location, where they can find the product they need for an order. They take it and place it in one of these totes, and then place it on the gravity-fed rails that run across the entire factory.

Once a product has come through to the printing stations, it is pre-treated to ensure the longevity of the print. Then it’s placed individually on a printer and printed in under 90 seconds.

Inks are mixed in real time so there’s no waste. We use water-based, GOTS and Oeko-Tex certified inks in the printers. This means TeeMill can remove the print from the product at the end of its use, to retain more of the valuable material, and eliminate the waste and pollution that would be created by other types of dyes.

So TeeMill are able to feed more of the valuable materials back into the system. They actually had to synthesise a new chemical, that you can see in those tubs, to make sure we could have an organic, water-based ink that was compatible with our printers and the Remill process. It’s more malleable than the synthetics polymers most brands use, it’s basically just pigment in water.

Where are the materials from?

TeeMill own our entire supply chain, from fibre to re-fabrication. Our products are made using organic cotton grown in monsoon heavy regions of India.

What is Remill?

Remill is a technology and service designed to keep good material in use and flowing. Some people use it as an example of circular economy design in action. Material is recovered and remanufactured into new products.

What charities do you support?

At Ecoverse Clothing, we are proud to support 4Ocean, an organisation dedicated to removing plastic from our oceans and rivers.

Social Socks® FAQs

Which size to buy?

The socks are currently available in UK adult sizes 4-7 and 7-11.

If you are a UK 7 size and above, I suggest going for the larger size.

The socks can shrink slightly in the wash, although they will go back into shape when you put them back on. We always recommend that you put them on a cold wash or max 30 degrees for the socks and environment.

Where is my order?

You should receive an email when your order is dispatched. After receiving an email, your order should arrive three working days later. Please be patient during busy periods, particularly at Christmas, as the Royal Mail service is under pressure. If you didn't receive your dispatched order email or are worried about the time, it takes for your parcel to arrive, please contact us.

Discount code not working?

Our discount codes should always work; however, if you have any difficulties, we’ve put some helpful hints here to make sure your discount code is applied:

You can only use one discount code per order.

Some discount codes can only be used once per customer.

Some discount codes have to be used within a specific timeframe, so please ensure the code is still in date.

If none of the above resolved your issue, or you simply forgot to add your discount code, please contact us so we can help you the best we can!

You can select your preferred payment method at checkout. We accept secure payments via pretty much any way you can think of:

Your order is shipped when full payment is made.

Returns and Refunds

Your 100% satisfaction is essential for us. We offer a 28-days Return & Exchange Policy:

If a product gets damaged or was faulty upon delivery - we offer a 100% refund or exchange.

We offer free UK returns if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase.

Timing: we have a 28-days Return & Exchange Policy since the day item was received.

To be eligible for a return, goods must be unopened, unused, undamaged and accompanied by proof of purchase.

For returns, contact us with the subject 'Returns' and include your order number, name and the reason for the return. Please provide evidence of the damaged item if you want a replacement delivered.

We will provide you with instructions on where to send returned goods. We strongly recommend getting proof of postage when returning goods to avoid "lost packages" situations.

Please note that customers are responsible for shipping costs of returned items, although we can discuss this with you.

When the returned item is received and inspected, the customer gets a confirmation email notifying them about the refund status.

If the refund is approved, it will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to the customer's credit card or original payment method shortly after.

Shipping

We ship worldwide! We have a UK distribution centre so worldwide orders will take a little longer.

Shipping times: UK orders take 2-3 business days to be delivered to you, and we aim to dispatch them to you within one business day.

Shipping time might vary depending on location, shipment method and other factors. Please check out our shipping costs and timeframes here.

Orders outside of the UK will have a delivery charge depending on location, and this will be calculated at checkout.

Care Instructions

Our socks are easy to look after:

Always hand wash garments in cold water or on a delicate 30 degree cycle. Cold water is less likely to shrink your clothing or alter the colors.

We recommend hand washing your socks on a colder wash as this is better for the socks and the environment! To make your socks last, we recommend:

Cold wash to maintain size and shape.

No bleach to preserve colours.

Colours will stay more vivid if you wash your socks inside-out.

Avoid ironing your socks.

Avoid tumble drying.
