Single-Use Plastic Free:

Did you know? Over 300 million tons of plastic are produced every year for use in various applications. At least 14 million tons of plastic end up in the ocean every year, and plastic makes up 80% of all marine debris found from surface waters to deep-sea sediments. So, we mustn’t add to that, and we actively help reduce the amount going into our oceans. That is why we have partnered with 4Ocean to help remove the vast amount of Ocean plastic from our seas. We will do this by removing 1lb of ocean plastic waste from our seas with every Ecoverse Clothing product you purchase.

With that in mind, we use no single-use plastic in ANY of our products and packaging and work hard with our suppliers to ensure they reduce their use or eliminate it. Our packaging that we send your socks and clothing out in is an FSC certified kraft envelope or mailer bag, and we believe this is a fantastic choice as it can be posted straight through your door. There is no need to worry that you will miss a delivery. Ultimately it stops adding any further carbon footprint from the parcel needing to be redelivered or the customer needing to go out of their way to collect. 

Raising Funds For Charity:

We are proud to sponsor WWF-UK and Tommy's as our core values align perfectly with theirs. This is a statement taken from the WWF-UK website: “WWF-UK's mission is to stop the degradation of the planet's natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature by conserving the world's biological diversity, ensuring that the use of renewable natural resources is sustainable and reducing pollution and wasteful consumption.”

They can’t continue their great work without the support of businesses and individuals raising money to help support their campaigns. So we decided to donate 10% of the TOTAL sale from Social Socks* and not profits which you commonly see the majority of companies do. Why do this? It’s so you, our customers, can see and understand how much is given back to charity. We want to create a clear and transparent message when companies say profits, how do you know how much profit is made and how much of your money is donated to charity?

Planting Trees: 

To be truly sustainable, we wanted to ensure the carbon footprint generated from our suppliers delivering our stock, to the orders we post out, can be offset. Helping the fight against climate crisis. It was essential to partner with a company that shared the same passion, and Carma is the perfect fit.
